• Path of Awakening and Benevolence (2022 - ) is a worldwide exploration of the philosophy of Neohumanism, which goes beyond humanism to extend care and compassion to all forms of life, and to the very planet that nurtures and sustains us. • The Spirit of Vedika (2015) This 18-minute film explores Ayurvedic school Vedika Global’s training programs and director Shunya Pratichi  Mathur’s revival of the ancient interdisciplinary method of teaching Ayurveda, known as the Gurukulam. • Living Jewel of Bhutan (2003) is a film designed to inspire awareness and raise funds for the restoration of the ancient and revered Gangten Gompo, one of the most significant and revered monasteries in the remote Himalayan kingdom of Bhutan. • The Hoop of Life with Kevin Locke (2002) was created to represent and promote the work of Native American Kevin Locke, a Lakota performance artist widely regarded as one of the world’s foremost Hoop Dancers and Northern Plains flute players. • The Last Zapatista (1993) chronicles the colorful life and political passions of Emeterio Pantaleon, one of the last livingpeople to have fought under the command of the revered Mexican revolutionary, Emiliano Zapata. • Way of the Wodaabe (1988) follows the last true cattle nomads of Africa to the remote site of their traditional rainy season celebrations where, for the first time since the devastating drought of 1984-85, the men perform their ritual dances of charm and beauty. • Nuclear Exiles (1987) chronicles the plight of the gentle people of the Bikini Atoll (the site of 23 U.S. nuclear tests) from the time of their removal in 1946. The film features a group ofBikinian elders visiting their homeland for the first time in over forty years, scientific efforts to deal with the radioactive contamination of their atoll, and the Bikinian’s continuing legal battles with the U.S. Government. Producer/Director/Cinematographer, National Geographic EXPLORER

• Tokyo Fishmarket (1987) explores the colorful and fast-moving realm of Tokyo’s Tskuji Market, the largest fish market in the world. Producer/Director, National Geographic EXPLORER

• Master Archer (1986) is a portrait of Sensei Kanjuro Shibata (official bow maker and archer for the Emperor of Japan), and the ancient samurai art of Kyudo, also known as Zen archery. Producer/Director, National Geographic EXPLORER

• Masterpieces in Chalk (1986) follows the renowned street painter, Kurt Wenner, as he creates masterpieces on the sidewalks of Italy and Switzerland. Producer/Director, National Geographic EXPLORER

• Navajo Sandpainting (1986) explores the conflict between the use of sandpainting as a powerful traditional healing ritual and as a profitable commercial art form that provides an income for hundreds of families on the Navajo Indian Reservation. Producer/Director, National Geographic EXPLORER  

• In the Spirit of Stradivarius (1986) shows a day in the life of New York’s Rare Violins, Inc., where the works of Amati, Stradivarius, and other Italian masters are bought, sold, and restored. • Cameras on the Move (1985) traces the evolution of Garret Brown’s invention of the Steadicam and Skycam, two devices that have revolutionized the possibilities of the moving camera. Producer/Director/Cinematographer, National Geographic EXPLORER

• The Pigeon Game (1985) is an insider’s look at the pigeon wars of Brooklyn and the unique and impassioned men who command the birds from their rooftops.  Director/Cinematographer, National Geographic EXPLORER

• Guardian of the Everglades (1985) is a portrait of 95 year-old conservationist Marjorie Stoneman Douglas, and her forty-year crusade to protect the Everglades of southern Florida. Producer/Director/Cinematographer, National Geographic EXPLORER

• Underwater with David Doubilet (1984) portrays one of the world’s finest underwater photographers on assignment for National Geographic magazine in Japan’s Izu Oceanic Park. Producer/Director/Cinematographer, National Geographic EXPLORER

• Voices of Ice (1984) is a 35mm Cinemascope film on the glaciers of southeastern Alaska and the profound influence they have exerted on the natural and human history of the region. Writer, U.S. Forest Service and Trailwood Films

• The Crater Lake Story (1983-1984) dramatizes a Native American myth about the volcanic creation of Oregon’s Crater Lake, and reveals how the lake has inspired people of widely differing cultures and belief systems for hundreds of years. • Denali Wilderness (1981-1982) portrays the life and landscape of Denali National Park and Preserve, one of the world’s great wilderness areas and home to such creatures as caribou, Dall sheep, wolves, and grizzly bears. This is the showcase visitor center film for the park and is also the representative wilderness film for the National Park Service. It has been presented to many countries around the world to help inspire them to establish their own national park systems, and over the years this film has been viewed by hundreds of millions of people around the world. Director/Principal Cinematographer /Writer/Editor, National Park Service

• Pahayokee (1980) (literally ‘Grassy Waters’), shows the unique environment and life forms of Everglades National Park, and reveals the many threats to it’s existence resulting from extensive human development in southern Florida.
