The film features a group ofBikinian elders visiting their homeland for the first time in over forty years, scientific efforts to deal with the radioactive contamination of their atoll, and the Bikinian’s continuing legal battles with the U.S. Government. Denali Wilderness (1981-1982) portrays the life and landscape of Denali National Park and Preserve, one of the world’s great wilderness areas and home to such creatures as caribou, Dall sheep, wolves, and grizzly bears. This is the showcase visitor center film for the park and is also the representative wilderness film for the National Park Service. It has been presented to many countries around the world to help inspire them to establish their own national park systems, and over the years this film has been viewed by hundreds of millions of people around the world.
